coaching retreats
The coaching retreat provides a unique opportunity to take stock of your life, explore yourself in depth and create strategies to ensure success with more ease back in your everyday life. The environment offers the tranquility and peace that are paramount for self reflection and you will benefit from the natural beauty of the surroundings to emerge renewed and invigorated.
Where?
The retreats take place in Applecross, Wester Ross, a beautiful peninsula in the West Highlands of Scotland, whose Gaelic name translates as Sanctuary, evoking the sense of peace and tranquillity that can be found here. The magnificent scenery with its rugged mountains, sandy beaches, deep, still lochs and little crofts is conducive to relaxation of the body and expansion of the mind. It has an abundance of wild life including sea birds, red deer and otters.
To further enhance your experience there is opportunity for plenty of walking along with other outdoor activities which can be arranged separately. If you prefer a more sedate approach you may choose to spend your free time reading, writing or taking tea by the fire. To further nurture your body and relax your mind there are options of bodywork or even your own personal harp recital.
Who?
The coaching retreats are suitable for a single person, two friends or a couple. In the case of two people the coaching can be done separately or together, whichever is appropriate. Or one person may just be here as a companion and not require much of the programme.
The House
The retreat takes place at Creag Dearg, Applecross, a very comfortable home where you will be the sole guests. Creag Dearg is a 1950’s bungalow which has recently been completely modernised and refurbished to a high standard. The ensuite bedroom can accommodate single, twin or double bookings with digital television, Wi-fi and reading material. The living room is comfortable and spacious with a library of books and a wood-burning stove. Breakfast consists of good quality, mostly organic or locally produced food with dietary guidance should you wish to change your eating habits. Other meals are available in the award winning restaurants close by or can be organised at Creag Dearg by special arrangement.
Prior to booking. Your personal retreat will be individually designed in partnership with Janet through a free assessment session which will be carried out over the phone.
